About the Event

Please join us at the Florida Oceanographic Society on Hutchinson Island to create seagrass mats that will be used to restore seagrass meadows in the Indian River Lagoon. We will be attaching seagrass fragments to pre-cut burlap mats. No experience is needed but must have nimble fingers. 

This event is outdoors in the Group Pavilion. Wear clothes that can get a bit wet and dirty, shoes, and please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. 

Space is limited for this event.
