Potting Red Mangroves
Wed, Nov 12
|The Banyan Room Stuart
For our November meeting we will have a hands-on event planting red mangroves to help our ecosystem.

Time & Location
Nov 12, 2025, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The Banyan Room Stuart, 729 SE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, FL 34994, USA
About the Event
Logan from the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida is bringing red mangrove saplings that need to be potted. We will be the potters! Wear your work clothes. You can bring your garden gloves or wear the ones that he will provide. You can either sit or stand at the tables on our patio for this project.
Red mangroves are vital to coastal ecosystems because their extensive root systems protect shorelines from erosion and storms, filter water by trapping sediments and contaminants, and provide essential habitats and food for diverse marine and bird species.
RSVP to Susan Tadlock (address listed in the Membership Directory) if you can attend, so we can determine the number of tables and chairs.
